On September 24th, we held our 3rd annual Media Day, which was a huge success! What started in 2024 as a way to celebrate our team before Nationals has now become a cherished fall tradition. Members had the chance to pose with a variety of props, including Indiana University flags, Swim Club gear, and fun accessories that showcased their school spirit! The energy was so amazing! The laughter and smiles could be heard and seen from anywhere in the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center!  These photos not only capture our pride in being part of Swim Club at Indiana University, but also serve as lasting memories of our time together. We’re excited to share some of the best shots on our social media soon!

On September 25th, our second team bonding event took place at the Indiana Memorial Union Bowling Alley, and it was nothing short of a strike! With music playing and pizza flowing, members split into groups and competed in friendly matches across multiple lanes. The turnout was so strong that we reached the player cap with some members even teaming up to bowl together, adding to the camaraderie. Whether you bowled a strike or a gutter ball, the night was filled with laughter, high-fives, and team spirit! Events like these remind us that Swim Club at Indiana University is more than just a swim team -- it's a community!

On September 26th, our swimmers volunteered to time for the Indiana University Varsity Men and Women's Swim Team. The Indiana Varsity Swim & Dive Team faced off against the Florida Gators, which was a ranked Top 10 matchup. The Indiana Men are ranked #3, with the Florida Men right behind, ranked #4. The Indiana Women are ranked #4, with the Florida Women ranked #6. On the Men's side of the scoreboard, the Hoosiers defeated the Gators by a whopping 116 points, with the final score being 208-92 in favor of Indiana. However, on the Women's side of the scoreboard, the Gators took home the victory, outscoring the Hoosiers by 40 points; the final score was 170 -130, Florida over Indiana. Our team had a fun time getting to time the Hoosiers in their first swim meet of the season! Swim Club members, Madi Machado and Lily Baumgardner, also work as team managers and had a fun time working the swim meet for the Varsity Hoosiers!

On September 30th, we hosted our first Dine & Donate event of the year at Bucceto's! After practice, our team and our head coach, Jeff LeBeau, left promptly at 7:30 to have a team dinner at Bucceto's, where they helped and showed support for the team. Our team had a great time chatting, eating, and getting to know each other over delicious pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and desserts! Thank you to everyone who dined and donated to our team! Keep an eye out for more ways to support our team!
