laters 2025... Hello 2026
Our swimmers have finished up another few months at Swim Club ati Indiana Univeristy! Our team traveled volunteered, sported another club sport, held a fun 2025 Friends giving, timed for the Indiana University Varsity Hoosiers, and traveled to Notre Dame! Our alumni also got together for their own event in Indianapolis! We have done a lot in November and December and more to come as we enter the new year of 2026, check it out below!
South benD Buisness Trip
On December 6th, the Hoosiers traveled to the University of Notre Dame to take on the Irish, along with Bowling Green, Butler, Ohio State, DePaul, Grand Valley, Loyola Chicago, Marquette, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Western Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. We took a team of 26 swimmers, five of whom got their first National cuts of the season and are eligible to travel to Greensboro, North Carolina, for the 2026 College Club Swimming National Championships! These five swimmers are Annika Carpenter, Madeline Gambla, Andrew Meighan, Ethan Chen, and Tyler Ganz! Our Women placed 8th, while our Men placed 4th, but our team overall placed 6th! A job well done by all of our athletes!
Get ready! The Hoosier Invitational in Indianapolis, College Club Swimming National Championships in Greensboro, NC, and MORE are on the way for the spring 2026 semester!

Beyond the Lanes
This past month, we held multiple philanthropy and team-bonding events throughout the greater Bloomington area.
On November 1st, Swim Club at Indiana University volunteered at Pantry 279 on the edge of Bloomington. Our volunteers arrived at 11 am and were put to work right away. A variety of jobs were done, such as restocking shelves and packing away products. Our team had a fantastic time and were thanked for the large amount of work done for the employees at Pantry 279. We look forward to working with Pantry 279 again soon!
On November 8th, members of our team and Head Coach Jeff LeBeau went to support the Women's Hockey at Indiana University's at one of their fall competitions! We watched Indiana take on Miami of Ohio on the ice! Even though it wasn't a win for the Hoosiers, we had fun and enjoyable time being able to support another one of our club sports teams!

On December 3rd, our team hosted a belated Friendsgiving! Our swimmers brought plenty of snacks and desserts for everyone to share, while our hosts provided some delicious pizza! Everyone was able to eat, talk with each other, and get some group photos! Everyone had a great time and got to know each other better! We look forward to celebrating Friendsgiving next year!
On December 5th, our swimmers volunteered to time for the Indiana University Varsity Men and Women's Swim Team. The Indiana Varsity Swim & Dive Team faced off against the Cincinnati Bearcats. On the Men's side of the scoreboard, the Hoosiers defeated the Bearcats by 33 points, with the final score being 157-124 in favor of Indiana. On the Women's side of the scoreboard, the Hoosiers also took home the victory, outscoring the Bearcats by 50 points; the final score was 162-112, Indiana over Cincinnati. Our team had a fantastic time getting to time the Hoosiers in their last swim meet of the fall semester! Our swimmers would leave this meet and get ready to head to South Bend to face the Irish on the 6th!
We have more events to come in the Spring Semester! We look forward to having everyone back on campus on January 12th!

alumni Splash
On November 15th, Bill Ramos, our club's founder, and Kennedy Gallagher, a 2022 Graduate of the Swim Club at Indiana University, brought together the Indianapolis and Indiana area alumni for an Indiana Football versus Wisconsin watch party! The alumni crew met up at the Dugout Bar in Indianapolis. While there, they watched the Hoosiers defeat the Badgers, ate some good food, drank some drinks, and got Swim Club at Indiana University gear from Bill Ramos! We are glad to hear that they had such a great time together! We look forward to seeing our alumni again very soon!
